These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "User") and Bunee ("Bunee", "we", "us", "our"), the operator of the JAgent platform accessible at jagent.bunee.co and related subdomains (collectively, the "Service" or "Platform").
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or clicking "I agree" or similar affirmation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation or business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

To access the full features of JAgent, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or by authenticating through Google OAuth. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information at registration and to keep your account information updated.
You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, abuse free trials, or manipulate subscription pricing is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.
You are solely responsible for:
Bunee will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security. You must not share your account credentials with any third party.
You agree not to impersonate another person or use a false identity when creating an account. You must not use the Service to represent yourself as someone you are not to prospective employers.
JAgent is an AI-powered job hunting assistant that provides the following features:
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance where possible.
Bunee reserves the right to modify, update, enhance, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice, provided that any material reduction in core functionality will be communicated to paid subscribers in advance.
Some features may be labelled as "beta" or "experimental." These features are provided as-is, may be less stable, and are subject to change or removal without notice. Additional disclaimers may apply to beta features.
Access to JAgent's full features requires a paid subscription. Current pricing at the time of these Terms is:
All prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise displayed. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance to existing subscribers and will apply from the next billing cycle following the notice period.
By subscribing, you authorise Bunee to charge your designated payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Billing occurs automatically on your subscription renewal date. You must provide accurate and complete billing information.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Bunee does not store your payment card details. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service available at stripe.com/legal. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and may retry the charge. If payment is not received within a reasonable period, your subscription may be suspended until payment is successfully collected. You remain liable for all outstanding amounts.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies imposed by your jurisdiction on your subscription payments. Where required by law, Bunee may collect and remit applicable taxes (such as VAT or GST).
If Bunee offers a free trial, it will be clearly described at the time of sign-up. At the end of any free trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We will remind you before the trial expires where required by applicable law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings page or by contacting us at support@bunee.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to the Service until then.
Upon cancellation:
All subscription fees are generally non-refundable except in the following circumstances:
Refund requests must be submitted to support@bunee.co within 30 days of the relevant charge. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or abusive.
Deleting your account constitutes cancellation of your subscription. No refund will be issued for the remaining time in a billing period unless otherwise required by law.
Important: AI-generated content produced by JAgent — including cover letters, CV suggestions, and job match assessments — is generated by a probabilistic AI system and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content unsuitable for specific applications. You must review all AI-generated content before using it. Bunee accepts no liability for outcomes arising from the use of AI-generated content.
AI-generated content is produced by large language models that operate statistically. The output may:

The Service does not provide professional career coaching, employment advice, or legal advice. Nothing within JAgent, including AI-generated content or job match scores, constitutes professional advice. You should rely on your own judgment and, where appropriate, consult qualified career professionals for significant career decisions.
AI content is generated using Anthropic's Claude AI model. The availability, capabilities, and outputs of this model may change over time. Bunee is not responsible for changes to Anthropic's models or policies.
When you activate the Agent, it searches for jobs, processes listings, generates content, and may send emails on your behalf. You authorise the Agent to take these actions and acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing the Agent's outputs and any communications sent.
If you enable automated email sending, you confirm that:
The Agent's job searches depend on third-party API availability, job data quality, and your configured preferences. Bunee does not guarantee:
The Agent may not always work correctly due to changes in third-party APIs, rate limits, website structures, or other external factors outside Bunee's control. We will endeavour to maintain the Agent's functionality but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload or provide to JAgent, including your CV, work history, preferences, and any other data ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
By providing User Content to the Service, you grant Bunee a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, store, and transmit your User Content solely to the extent necessary to:
This licence does not include the right to sell your User Content, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that your User Content is accurate and does not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity. You must not upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself.
You are solely responsible for all User Content you provide. Bunee is not responsible for reviewing, validating, or verifying the accuracy of your User Content. You indemnify Bunee against any claims arising from your User Content.
You agree to use JAgent only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy and to take any action we deem appropriate, including suspending or terminating your account, removing content, or reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.
JAgent integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email), Railway (hosting), and various job listing APIs. Your use of these third-party services is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Bunee is not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of third-party services.
Job listings retrieved by your Agent are sourced from third-party platforms and APIs. Bunee does not create, verify, or control these listings. You acknowledge and agree that:

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. Bunee does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.
The functionality of your Agent depends in part on third-party APIs and services. These may change, become unavailable, or impose new restrictions at any time. Bunee will endeavour to maintain service continuity but is not liable for any reduction in functionality caused by third-party changes.
The Service, including its software, design, features, branding, trademarks, and all content created by Bunee, is the exclusive intellectual property of Bunee and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal job search purposes only. No other rights are granted.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Service or its underlying technology without Bunee's prior written consent.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant Bunee a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
AI-generated content produced by JAgent specifically for you (such as your cover letters) is provided to you for your personal use. To the extent such content is protectable by copyright and to the extent permissible by applicable law, Bunee assigns any rights in such content to you, subject to your compliance with these Terms. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may not always be sufficiently original to attract copyright protection.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bunee expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
Bunee makes no representation or warranty that use of JAgent will result in any job application being successful, any interview being granted, or any employment being secured. Your career outcomes depend on many factors entirely outside Bunee's control.
Job listings retrieved by the Agent are sourced from independent third-party platforms. Bunee does not verify the accuracy, legality, or authenticity of any job listing. Bunee is not responsible for fraudulent job listings, inaccurate employer information, or any consequences arising from applying to jobs found through the Service.
AI-generated cover letters, CV suggestions, and other outputs are produced by probabilistic AI models that may generate inaccurate, inappropriate, or low-quality content. Bunee disclaims all liability for outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content.
Read this section carefully. It limits Bunee's liability to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bunee, its directors, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
Bunee's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount paid by you to Bunee in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
You acknowledge that Bunee has set its prices and entered into these Terms in reliance upon the limitations of liability set out in this section, and that these limitations form an essential basis of the bargain between the parties.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes Bunee's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have additional statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bunee, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
Bunee reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with Bunee's defence of that claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the account settings page. This will cancel your subscription effective at the end of the current billing period. Data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy.
Bunee may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if:
Where commercially reasonable, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before terminating your account.
We may suspend access to your account rather than terminate it, for example during an investigation. During suspension, you may not be able to access your data. Bunee will not be liable for any consequences of a suspension carried out in good faith.
Upon termination:
If Bunee terminates your account for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, we will provide a pro-rated refund of any prepaid subscription fees for the unused portion of your current billing period.
We strongly encourage you to contact us first at support@bunee.co to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing formal proceedings. Most concerns can be resolved quickly and amicably.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the dispute resolution process described in Section 19 (Governing Law) for your jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against Bunee. All disputes must be resolved on an individual basis.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, nothing in this section prevents you from bringing claims before a competent court in your country of residence or lodging a complaint with a relevant consumer protection authority or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. In the EU, you may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These Terms and any disputes arising from or relating to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law as follows:
Consumer protection laws in your country of residence may give you rights that cannot be excluded by a choice of law clause. We do not seek to exclude any mandatory rights you have under your local law.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bunee regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect.
Bunee's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Bunee.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Bunee's prior written consent. Bunee may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided that your rights under these Terms are not materially diminished.
All notices from Bunee to you will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Notices from you to Bunee must be sent to support@bunee.co or the address below. Notices are effective when received.
Bunee shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance of the Service arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, third-party service failures, internet outages, government actions, pandemics, or civil unrest.
We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email and in-platform notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription. Non-material changes (such as corrections, clarifications, or formatting changes) may be made without notice.
These Terms are written in English. Where translations are provided, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
